Ping Test Online
Measure real-time local network echo latency.
How to use Ping Test
- 1Click 'Start Ping Test' to begin latency measurements.
- 2The tool sends requests to multiple global servers and measures round-trip response time.
- 3Results are displayed in milliseconds — lower is better for gaming and real-time applications.
Privacy & security
Ping latency is measured by making HTTP requests to test servers from your browser. No personal data is transmitted — only timing data is measured.
Only HTTP timing data is measured during the ping test. No personal information is collected or transmitted.
Frequently asked questions
What is a good ping/latency?
Under 20ms is excellent (local servers). 20-50ms is good. 50-100ms is acceptable for most use cases. Over 100ms may affect gaming and video calls.
Is this a true ICMP ping?
No — browsers cannot send ICMP ping packets. This measures HTTP/HTTPS round-trip time to test servers, which is a practical measure of web response latency.
Why is my ping to some servers very high?
Physical distance is the primary factor — light takes ~5ms to travel 1,000km through fiber. Servers in other continents will always have higher latency.
